Why it is Great to Have a Twin #7 (in mommy's eyes)

You always have a healthy bit of competition!!!!!

WARNING, this topic is not for the weak stomachs!

(The girls have had poop charts for a few weeks now.  In general, potty training has gone pretty ok with the girls, but the pooping had become an issue.  Going days with out pooping to avoid having to go, waiting until nap time or the morning to poop when they have a diaper on for sleeping, etc.  So mommy decided why not try positive reinforcement and busted out poop charts so they each could get a sticker after they poop!  The girls were very receptive to this!!!!  They LOVED the stickers and the charts started filling up.  Well after a few days, Angelina had a bit of a set back and Valentina figured out that if she pooped twice a day instead of once a day she got more stickers, so has now been on a twice a day schedule.  So you can just imagine, with Valentina getting 2 stickers a day and Angelina being on a strike again and going in her diaper at any chance and not in the potty, Valentina jumped way ahead with filling up the chart.  So pretty quickly Valentina was close to filling it up, Lester even got into it and got excited EVERY time she went poop and got a new sticker to put on and got closer to filling it up.  So I decided I should have a BIG reward for filling up the chart and made a big deal about a SURPRISE at the end of the chart.  And of course she filled it up and got a new coloring book and crayons....good thing they are easy to please without blowing a hole in my wallet, and there Angelina sat, with only about 5 stickers on her chart.  She seemed to be excited for Valentina that she got her surprise but then she looked at me and said in kind of an excited voice, "If I go poop, I get a surprise?"  And I said, "Well, you have to go poop lots and lots and lots of times and fill up your chart and then you will get a surprise!"  And she said, "OK!"  Since that day (Saturday) she has pooped in the potty every day, even twice yesterday!!!!  She is well on her way to filling up her chart, and Valentina is filling up a second chart!  The competition is on and I sure do not mind it one bit!)
