We went to see the Air Show at Luke Air Force Base on Sunday! We had to wait to go until after the girls napped, but it turned out that we had perfect timing.....for once in our lives!!!! We got there, found a place to park right near the run way, and about 10 minutes later the Thunderbirds started flying for the grand finale of the day!
They were AWESOME!!!!!!!
I am so glad we went, even though we only got to see one flying act, it was so worth it! But between trying to keep them in my view finder and having so much fun watching them up so close, I couldn't decide if I even wanted to take pictures. But of course, I had to try to capture the moment, and with a little help from Joe, we managed to get a few good pics!
4 took off and stayed together pretty much the whole time, 2 others took off separately and did lots of individual stuff. But in the end, all 6 ended up flying together. It was so cool!
