I am finally getting around to posting pictures from 2 weekends ago!!!! We made a trip to Globe, AZ to go to A Day Out With Thomas......or 'Thomas LIVE' as Lester likes to call it! I have been wanting to take Lester to this for years and have finally managed to find it at a location near us....the 2 1/2 hour trip was well worth it!
We didn't tell Lester what we were going to do, just that it would take us awhile to get there and that it would be fun! As we were coming down the street, we were driving along side the train and Lester was admiring the passenger cars. I was trying to catch up to the front of the train because he still didn't know what we were doing. Then all of a sudden Lester saw Thomas at the front of the train and he yelled out, "We are going to Thomas LIVE!" His eyes lit up and he was soooooooo excited!

There were TONS of Thomas related activities and train sets for the kids to play with! Of course, Lester was glued to the wooden train sets because he does NOT have them at home. Then it was time to ride the train!
We found our seats!Mr. Conductor made his way around for a picture with every kid on the train!

Of course, Sir Topham Hat was there too!
Lester waiting in line to have a picture taken by Thomas!
Lester being a goof and looking through his new Thomas binoculars during his photo opportunity!

The 3 of us by Thomas!
Side note: the girls stayed at home with Grandma Liz so Lester could have Mommy and Daddy's undivided attention on this super fantastic day!
We also spent some time listening to the band. Lester loved being able to be on the stage playing all the different musical instruments they had for the kids to play with. The guitar was his favorite!
It was a fun day!
But is didn't stop there! Of course we had to stop a few places along the way home....
to take some cool bridge pictures......
