Halloween 2010

Presenting.............
THE CAT IN THE HAT & THING 1 and THING 2

Lester decided to abandon the clown family tradition this year. Months ago he said to me, "Mom, I don't want to be a clown for Halloween this year because other kids are something different every year." I knew this day would come and I warned Joe years ago that it would, and surprisingly enough, he was ok with Lester's decision to be something else this year! Mommy wanted to take advantage of the girls still be young enough not to have a say in what they wanted to be and thought it would be fun for them to be Thing 1 and Thing 2 since Lester used to call them that when they were first born. AND Cat in the Hat is Lester's ultimate favorite right now so he was more than excited to be it. Then came the call to Grandma Corky, and with two shakes of a lambs tail she whipped up the costumes and had them in the mail to us!!!!!
THANKS GRANDMA!!!!!!

Faces painted, costumes on, and then came the blue hair spraying!!!!
Auntie Julie was a trooper, standing in a blue haze, holding the girls for me while I just went to town!

Valentina, Thing 1!

Angelina, Thing 2!

All of the cousins ready for trick or treating!!!!!

Lester, Angelina, Auntie Julie, Valentina, Cruz, and Chaz

Uncle Mike is ready too!

TRICK OR TREAT!!!!!

Jackpot!!!!!

Getting away with the loot!!!!!

Emmy, carrying Thing 2! She was such a big help with the girls the whole night. She helped feed them dinner, she helped while they got their hair put in pony tails, she helped carry them up to the doors to get their treats, she helped get them out of their costumes and diapered and dressed after the festivities. And then kept them entertained the rest of the night. She is going to make a great mom some day! :)
THANKS EMMY!

The Cat in the Hat and Amy and I carrying Thing 1 and Thing 2! Notice the death grip Angelina has on that candy bucket, she carried it ALL night and KNEW it was hers when we got done.
THANKS AMY for all of your help with the girls too!

A quick pose with Mommy!

This was the coolest little princess carriage that this Grandpa had made for his two princess grand-daughters. The whole frame had glow sticks going around it so it was all lit up, it was awesome!

And to top off the night, the cousins had to have some Halloween cupcakes after going through their loot bags.....as if they hadn't had enough sugar for the night!
It was a fun filled night and TONS of candy to prove it!!!!
Till next year Halloween!
