This picture hangs above our fireplace.
It has since before Joe and I even met. It was his, and he already had it hanging there when I moved in.
His grandmother, Nana, always said she thought it looked like me since the first day she meet me. I can see a resemblance, but not really!!! And to this day, his mom says that he willed me into his life with it!!!!
Over the last few weeks, the girls have been doing this sing-songy 'HI' routine while sitting in their high chairs. This picture is right behind where their high chairs sit. Angelina started it one day. She turned around and waved at the picture and said "HI!" plain as day in this high pitch tone that Lester giggled about. Then Valentina started in with the wave and the "HI!" too! Then when I went into their room the next morning, I said "HI!" in the EXACT same voice that Angelina had said it the day before! That's when I stopped short and realized they were mimicking the way I say it to them and they think the picture is me! Joe's mom thought this was hilarious when I told her and she said, "See, they think it is you too!"
