This is a VERY serious one!
Mainly because they couldn't figure out what I was doing, they are ALOT more mobile since we have done the last one at 12 months old. So they were not too thrilled about being stuck in the chairs. In fact, Angelina was trying to escape the whole time....see the out takes below!
The girls are doing soooooo much these days! They are all over the place and into everything!!! They love exploring new things and are figuring out how to climb on things and also how to use miscellaneous household items to stand on to get to higher up things.....so everything is fair game these days....they are sure keep us on our toes! They are also learning sign language like no bodies business!!! I have been doing it with them since they were about 8 months old, but now it is really paying off. They are doing about one new sign a day right now. It is amazing to watch them learn and put things together, and they really feed off of one another. One will usually figure out a sign first, but then as soon as the other sees her sister doing it, she will then start doing it also. Monkey see, monkey do!!! :)
They are currently signing these words on a regular basis......
ball, more, bath, milk, diaper, baby, dog, sleep, please, water, all done, peach, apple, corn, eat, hat, daddy
And this is the order in which they learned them....notice BALL is first!!!!!! They are obsessed with balls!!!!!!
The world stops when they see or get hold of a ball.....they frantically sign the word and say ba-ba! There has even been a few fights already over balls!!!!! They are also practicing some word sounds as well as doing a few animal sounds too. Angelina's wolf howl and turkey gobble are pretty good and Valentina does a good monkey, a good owl, and a kookaburra...which are all pretty similar with a 'who-who' sound but she does it in a different tone and at a different speed depending on which animal you mention! It's pretty funny!
So that is the girls in a nut shell these days and below are some of the out takes from the photo session!

Love reading about all the sign language! Pretty soon, they'll be talking your ears off!
