Arizona Snowman!
I finally have train town out of my kitchen, but Lester has now discovered a new fun indoor project! Play-doh!!!! At first I don't think he really new what to do with it. He just had fun watching me make silly things like a dog, a mouse, an elephant. He also figured out how to use my cookie cutters to cut out shapes. Then he started to ask me to make certain things like a kangaroo, you should have seen that one!!! :) Most of the time it's animals! But this week Lester was playing with the play-doh while I was making dinner and then all of a sudden he was digging in the refrigerator getting out carrots. I said, "What are you doing?" And the logical answer of course was, "I need carrot Mama for snowman nose!" I turned around and saw his "snowman" on the table! It was too cute! So of course I had to take a picture of Lester with his first snowman!!!!!!!
Now being a native Minnesotan, it seems pretty sad that Lester hasn't seen snow yet to know how to make a REAL snowman, but I must say that Curious George taught Lester a valuable lesson the other day!!!!! You don't need snow to make a snowman!!!! Curious George was trying to make a snowman in the summer and tried using crushed ice, then mud, and finally wet sand to make a snowman. So Lester made HIS very own snowman out of play-doh! You gotta love the imagination!!!!

I love the Miami style playdoh colors, and the eyes look like sun glasses. Perfect! I can just hear his little voice explaining about the carrot. Makes me smile!
