Lester's Science Fair

Our homeschool group had their annual History/Geography/Science fair last week. When I found out they were having it, I asked Lester if he wanted to do some sort of science project for it. I figured he would want to do a science experiment or something but he said he wanted to do something about snakes. So after reading a snake book he chose a few things he wanted to cover for his project. It turned out really great, he did a good job with it and really stayed on task as we were working on it! Here he is the day of the fair setting up his project!

Practicing his talk before it all started!

More practicing!

Then it was his turn! He was third to last, so he had to wait awhile but I was very impressed that he was also very interested in all of the other kids' projects as we went from table to table watching the other kids talk about what they learned about.

More of his presentation!

He saved the best for last.......a REAL snake!

This is Twizzler, our Milk snake! Everyone thought it was so cool that this was our pet.....little did they know she is only one of our 13 snakes!!!! :)

Lester did such a great job presenting, he spoke well, and knew exactly what he was talking about! I look forward to more of these types of projects over the course of our homeschooling!
