FINALLY!!!!!! The girls have started calling me Mama!!!! :) This has been a LONG time coming! They have been saying Da-da since about 12 months, and actually referring to Joe as Dada since about a month after that. They have also nick-named a bunch of other people and things, just a few for example....Grandma/Grandpa, dog, rabbit, bird, duck, etc. They will also look and reach for me if you ask them where Mama is, but they just would not even mutter the word....and believe me, I have tried!!!! Until two days ago, I actually got Angelina to repeat it after me, over and over again, and we cheered and clapped and celebrated. I could even hear her practicing it over and over again in her crib at nap time and bed time that day. So I think Valentina caught on. And yesterday I pointed to a picture of me and asked them who it was and Valentina just blurted out, "Mama!" And I clapped and cheered and gave her a hug and they both giggled and then Angelina did the same thing. It was so fun to hear their little voices saying it! I have been waiting for this day for a LONG time!
