5 Months

So here we are mid-way through November, the girls are now 5 months old! The time is flying by!

Lester is still enjoying his two baby sisters and loves doing these progression pictures. Soon it will be difficult to fit all 3 of them in the pillow we have been using, they are getting so big! There have been lots of milestones happening this month!

At the beginning of the month, Angelina started sitting up for short spurts at a time. I happened to catch this one and I think she looks like she is quite proud of herself here!

We have been spending alot of time on the floor playing and exploring. It is funny to see them watch each other and eye the toys the other one is playing with. It won't be long until they are stealing them away from each other....and fighting over them too I'm sure!

Valentina has been VERY into watching us eat and drink. So one night at dinner, Daddy decided to give her some of his mashed potatoes, and boy did she like them! She would fuss and fuss until she saw the spoon coming and then she would stop and open wide like she had been doing it for years! He couldn't keep it coming fast enough for her! So I got some rice cereal and have done it a few nights this week with both girls.

Lester has a new pass time this month!

Daddy put up a tire swing for Lester and he now spends alot of his day swinging, hanging, and.......

climbing on it!

We also had a fun playgroup this month where the kids got to ride horses! It was only one block away from our house and Lester LOVED it! His horse's name was Buddy. He had a big smile on his face the whole time and kept saying to Daddy that night, "We need to get a horse in our yard again!" He had only been on my Mini horse in the past and was almost 2 when he passed away, but it seems as though he still remembers him!

So now that this month is almost over and I am just getting this post up, in the mean time, Valentina has started sitting up on her own as well! AND Angelina just popped her first tooth today! I can hardly keep up with these girls, they are doing things left and right! I have a feeling they are going to keep me on my toes! :)

Play time usually starts out like this with both girls sitting up with a toy....

then one or the other will start leaning.....

and tipping....

and by the end they usually end up in a big heap similar to this!

I can't wait to see what next month brings us!
