Just a few pics from the 4th of July!
Lester was a little apprehensive about seeing fireworks this year because last year was pretty windy with lots of lightning so he though that the two went hand in hand. After a little convincing, we went to watch the fireworks set off at the Surprise Stadium. I think he wanted to go home after the first couple loud booms but then he heard a little boy next to us exclaiming, "Spectacular!" and Lester said, "That little boy is not scared." And then he seemed to really like them. By the end he was even oohhing and ahhing like the rest of the crowd! It was pretty funny!
The girls on the other hand, slept through the whole thing, not phased by the booming at all! So I guess you can say they enjoyed their 1st fireworks display!
