Funny Conversations

Lester has thrown out a few funny conversations in the last few days.

Yesterday while driving home after getting the girls car seats, Joe put one of the car seats next to Lester and this is the conversation that followed in the back seat.....

Joe: That's where one of your baby sisters is going to sit.
Lester: Is the other baby sister going to sit over there? (pointing to the other side of him, where Joe usually sits)
Joe: Yep, one on each side. So....what do you think we should name them? They are going to need names.
Lester: ............(thinking hard)
Joe: What about Thing 1 and Thing 2?
Lester: Yeah! (with a grin and bright eyes)
Joe: But those kind of sound like boy names, we should think of girl names.
Lester: But they are going to be boys.
Joe: No, the baby sisters are going to be girls.
Lester: We could just pretend that they are boys.
Joe: Yeah, we could just pretend that they are boys. (with a smile and a giggle)


A few nights ago at about 4 in the morning I woke to this......

Lester: Mama, my bed is leaking.
Me: What?!? (still half asleep)
Lester: My bed is leaking.
Reaching over I found his bed was in fact wet. His diaper had leaked, which hasn't happened in a long time since he is pretty much potty trained and goes potty right before bed and right after getting up. But I guess your bed leaks when you have a HUGE glass of water right before bed time! ;)
