The Mad Scientist

Lester has been VERY into science the last few weeks. He LOVES making a hypothesis and then experimenting to see if his hypothesis is correct. He also LOVES solving mysteries and using science to solve them.
Over the last week at about 9:30 or 10 o'clock at night he turns into this
'Mad Scientist'!

He pulls a chair over to the kitchen sink and gets as many cups out as he can and goes to work......
pouring, measuring, mixing......experimenting.

So we made him a little science tool box with his own measuring cup, measuring spoons, turkey baster, sample collecting jar, test tubes, syringes (without needles of course), rubber gloves, and most importantly, safety goggles! It's AWESOME, I LOVE it! It's so fun to see his mind at work. And I must admit, Joe and I have joined in a few nights and mixed up some cool stuff with him using some household items....food coloring, dish soap, baking soda. Joe and Lester have even gone as far as building a volcano one day and getting stuff to ooze out of it and flow like lava.
Science rocks!

I commented yesterday, but for some reason it didn't post!
Anyway! Lester, you make a fabulous scientist! I love the goggles! Can't wait to see what experiments you come up with in the future ;)
