Turning One is Fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY GIRLY GIRLS!!!!

I am finally getting around to posting some pictures from their big day!

I attempted to do our monthly progression picture on their birthday, but it didn't so much work. For one, the girls were on opposite sides as they normally are, and two, the party hats were too much fun to play with for everyone to pay attention at the same time. So this one was the best I got!

Still not sure about the whole cake thing!

She was so funny, she would go at it like she was going to stick her fingers in it, seeming curious about it, and then she would pull back right before she was about to touch it, like she just knew her fingers would get all gooey!

Here she was finally taking a little lick of the frosting! And this was after I took Valentina's cake away from her...she's reaching over trying to help dig in!

Then she decided to just have fun with the mess on her own tray!

And that is that!!!!
One messy, one clean! So at least there was one cake for all of us to eat! :)

After Valentina was cleaned up in the bath, it was present time! But I think all of the presents ended up on the floor and the tissue paper and bags were played with the most!
