Dear Lester,
You are 4 years old! WOW! It seems like yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital. You sure are my big boy now! Oh, how you have grown over these 4 years. Literally and figuratively speaking. You are VERY tall for your age, you are going to be tall like your Daddy! You are also VERY wise beyond your years. You surprise me on a daily basis with your knowledge. You are an old sole at heart, I think you really fill the shoes of your name, Grandpa Lester would be proud! I love you so. Happy 4th birthday!
Things I want to remember about YOU at 4:
-You are a great big brother
-You love your baby sisters
-You STILL love Thomas the Tank Engine
-Your favorite color is blue
-Your best friend at the moment is Crash, your new puppy
-You like learning other languages and trying to speak in them by making up your own
words, Spanish and French mostly, but you are also re-learning sign language while
watching signing videos with your sisters
-You are really beginning to understand and enjoy all of our animals
-Everything is a 'Race'
-You got your FIRST official hair cut on your 4th birthday!

We went to Joe's barber and Joe got his hair cut first to show Lester it was not going to hurt. He was pretty relaxed about it all, note the dogs in the barber shop. He liked that they were there and just hanging out!
