So since Grandma and Grandpa were in town, I have once again been reminded why I titled ourselves 'Animal Family'! It's only when other people are around that I realize our everyday routine is not so 'everyday' for most families. Here are a few pictures that show exactly what I am talking about!
Our Chihuahua, Chico, otherwise known as Jiggy, Jiggy Bop, Jig, Jiggers, Chico Bandito as well as a handful of other names usually finds himself within inches of someone at all times. On a pillow next to a baby, under the covers in bed, on someones lap, or hanging by a string on the pant leg of an unwanted door salesman....that's my favorite!!!;)
While Mommy feeds the animals, the girls are usually found in their bouncers. Strategically placed where I feed the chickens so they can have a little bit of entertainment/distraction....what ever you want to call a short term baby sitter!
After Christmas we feed our Christmas tree to our Goats! They love it! In this picture Grandpa and Lester had just thrown it over the fence and the emus and goats are just coming over to check it out! It was devoured in a matter of hours! 
We use our 12 inch kitchen tiles to measure how long our lizards are!
Lester helps feed our rabbits on a daily basis! He just loves them!This is Bun-Bun a Lion Head Rabbit...he always looks like a big fluff ball!
And this is Vic, a regular old rabbit...but with the coolest blue eyes EVER!Lester always wants to let them run around the yard to get some exercise and Vic is the dickens to catch!
Our Kookaburra, Dingo, can be heard throughout the day doing his AWESOME kookaburra call! It sounds like you are in a Jungle when you are in our backyard!
Our dog Rocket, who usually never stays still long enough for me to capture a picture. He's a Chihuahua - Terrier and ALL terrier.
Lester gets daily play time with our ferret Snickerdoodle. He is the sweetest, craziest ferret!
What doesn't belong in the toy box????

So these are just a FEW examples of our every day ANIMAL routine. I may try to capture more now that I have a good camera and that I am once again realizing not all kids get to do what my kids do on a daily basis!!!!!

This is so great! I love that pic of the girls in the bouncers watching the chickens eat! LOL! You guys are pretty special :) Some of the moms were laughing at playgroup last Thurs. about Joe picking up the snakes at Lester's party. It's destined to be a playgroup legend.
Well my goodness Jill! You sure have your hads full! I bet Lesters friends all love coming to your home! And the girls, The just look so relaxed! AWESOME! Thanks for sharing this.. I would have never guessed you had all those animals!
